Nidra

Nidra

Yoga NIDRA = Yogic sleep.

Conscious release of physical and mental tension.

This is a beautiful deeply relaxing 45 minutes of laying on your back (or laying on your side or seated with support against a wall).

Keeping one foot in consciousness while slipping into yogic sleep.

Entering deep states of conscious relaxation between wakefulness and sleeping where our senses, intellect, and mind relax. Induced by my voice as a guided meditation slowly moving your attention through the physical body. Shifting brain waves into a beneficial state of regeneration and repair with profound healing, cell renewal and rejuvenation.

It’s just beautiful..

The only way to beat this is to add a YOGA session before this.

Review Nidra By Margie Sorrell

Exercise makes me feel good. I like moving, stretching and certainly muscle stimulation. I do not find it easy to relax and many years ago was told meditation would help. Anyway, that didn’t happen.

When yoga NIDRA was offered at the gym. I initially thought lying on the floor for 45mins was probably not for me. I tried it.

The first session was the first time I had breathed through my nose for 45mins. I am a mouth breather. I didn’t move. I gradually relaxed my body and was amazed how well that night I slept. Not all night, because I never have, but more relaxed in the mind.

Since then, every session I enjoy and relax very quickly and feel that it does help me and I am starting to thank my body for all it does for me. I see wonderful colours and feel warmth. Quite amazing.

Thank you Ange for everything you do. For all the full-on exercise and for all the other special things you allow me to enjoy.

The sessions I have experienced with Yoga NIDRA have been very beneficial both at the time and afterwards. The strategies that Ange leads us through gently and clearly enable individual reflection and practise whenever necessary.

I recommend taking the opportunity to experience this relaxation technique.

When Ange first introduced Yoga NIDRA I immediately thought “no this isn’t for me” but decided to give it a go.

I was sceptical but after my first session I felt so relaxed and after a couple of sessions can now clear my mind to gain the full benefit.

After a session I feel stress free ready to take on the day.

If I am having trouble getting to sleep. I use the process and am off sleeping soundly in no time.

Yoga NIDRA is one of my favourite classes at Move Stronger Fitness.

I enjoy yoga NIDRA very much. I didn’t think I could get on the floor to do this, but Angie said she would help me, and since that first time I now have got the courage to get down on the floor and get back up again on my own. I find it very relaxing and listening to Angie’s voice too as she talks us through the body parts and images. It has helped me a lot with sleeping at night.
