Meet The Owner

HI, WELCOME TO MOVE

I’m Angela, I’ll be with you on the floor correcting your form, so you don’t injure yourself and I’ll be pushing you to work to the best of your ability.

A bit about me… I turned 50 this year (2023) and I have embraced it after several months of initially freaking out. I grabbed ’50’ with both hands and now
I’m giving life all I have… look out world!.

BACK IN TIME: during school, before school and after school, I used to jump jump jump, bounce bounce bounce all the time playing elastics… I loved it 🙂
then in my early 20’s I rode and jumped dirt motorbikes; and then not much after that apart from running around with the kids once they came along. I had my first daughter Jaime at 26, and 2 years later we had Sam. They’re now 23 and 21.
When my ex-Husband and I separated when I was 39 I started running first thing in the mornings. Within 5 weeks I could run 5km without stopping which I was so proud of and then I just kept going.

I loooooved running sooo much, I would bounce out of bed at 4.15am and a few times a week I would do hilly 11 km runs but every day Monday to Friday I would always run. This love of exercise made me curious about physical fitness,
so I started my new journey of learning about fitness…
A Women’s gym asked me to work for them and so began my career in
wanting to make WOMEN STRONGER…

A couple of years after my fitness learning journey started I was at training as a Rhee Tae Kwon-do black belt student which was my other passion.
I sadly overtrained, and during a regular side kick I popped my hamstring.
I was devastated. My two passions were taken away.
One day I’d like to get back to them…
But now I jump out of bed at that same time and head to MOVE
to get you ladies MOVEing…
it’s my passion, I love it !

A few years ago, I became a Yoga Instructor as well and last year
a ZUMBA instructor which I have enjoyed incorporating into the
MOVE timetable to add even more variety.

I have been a fitness Instructor in fitness studios for about 10 years.
I have owned and coached in my own gym for the last 7 years.

I am always learning about all different genres so I can give the best to keep you strong, malleable, and able, as you continue through your years.
I know what I do in my studio is not like anything else.

I feel that what I provide for my beautiful MOVE ladies is an amazing variety which keeps them “MOVEing Stronger”.

I just want to help Women get healthier and stronger so that they won’t fall over as easy or so that they will be strong enough to get themselves off the floor. Strength training is so important to strengthen your bones and your muscles
and have a happier heart by enjoying some fun cardio moves and having better balance to prevent falls. After your workouts you will leave feeling physically and mentally enriched after a fabulously amazing feel-good session.
